Owner/Head Coach Dave Moore
Dave found Muay Thai later in life, but never missed a day of training once he started. His passion for the sport evolved into fighting on the amateur level, two national championship belts, helping others start their Muay Thai journey, Coaching internationally with the WBC USA team in Mexico, and finding great joy in passing on what he learned from his coaches, trainers, and fight experience.
Dave has lived in Austin for over twelve years, loves going to live shows, BBQ and brewing, catching films at Alamo Drafthouse, and spending quality time with friends both in and out of the gym.
Owner/Mama Gym Tiffany Moore
As a lifelong athlete, Tiffany took up Muay Thai in addition to her training in triathlons, marathons, and regular races around Austin. She quickly found a passion for Muay Thai, which led to a local amateur fight, fighting for an amateur national title, gym ownership, and a desire to help others grow personally as athletes through a healthy approach to sports.
When not running, swimming, and throwing elbows, Tiffany can be found around town enjoying live music, eating pizza, and spending time with her boxer doggo, Elby.

Crystal Gutierrez
Crystal began her martial arts journey around the age of 8 years old, practicing Karate, Jiu Jitsu and MMA as a teen. Her love for Muay Thai grew in New England where she trained under Jake Mainini at Hard Knocks Boston. She trained closely with high level athletes that looked to not only build grit and community but to grow the art of Muay Thai.

Rachel Hoover
Rachel started kickboxing in 2017, trying out different martial arts, but Muay Thai was always the one that clicked. In 2022, she found her way to The Old Guard and got hooked right away. After a consistent few months of intentional training, she realized she had the grit and determination to compete, so she set her sights on fighting. With the support of the Old Guard community and Coaches, she made it happen - stepping into three sanctioned amateur fights as well as competing in the 2024 TBA Classic - Muay Thai Expo & World Championships.
Rachel's coaching style is all about pushing people to their limits, while keeping it fun. She wants you to leave class sweaty, exhausted, but with a big smile on your face, feeling proud of what you’ve accomplished.
